The Starchild Saga
I am delighted to share that I am also an author, and I have poured my heart into writing a book that chronicles my personal story with my dogs. This detailed narrative captures the incredible journey we’ve embarked on together, filled with moments of joy, challenges, and the deep bond we’ve forged over time. From the playful adventures to the unexpected trials that tested our resilience, my book offers an intimate look at the lessons I’ve learned and the unconditional love my dogs have given me. It’s a heartfelt tale that reflects the unique relationship between us, and I’m proud to have turned these experiences into a story I can share with others.

The dream of finding love and warmth within her own family finally seems within reach. But the young mother quickly realizes that simultaneously climbing the career ladder and raising kids are not as easy as society would like her “to believe.” Illness, her husband, and a lack of support soon conspire to turn her dream of family life into a nightmare from which she must escape. Volume 2
The further story of the nonstop battle for the dogs.
In Germany, the authorities are threatening to take away Cassie’s dogs, so she rushes to move her pack to Croatia, where she believes they will all be safe. But then, instead of fighting the German bureaucracy she has to deal with the dilapidated condition of everything in Croatia and with her narcissistic, sociopathic landlord. With no better options, Cassie decides to leave her landlord in charge of her dogs for a few days—a decision that leads to catastrophe.
In desperation, Cassie turns to Minou, her good friend from Germany. Together they bring their first litters of puppies into the world. Minou encourages and supports Cassie and gives her hope that her dream of a life with her dogs, and even making a living from it, is possible. Maybe she could start a business that lets customers interact with her huskies? But the path to the Plitvice Lakes in Croatia is long and the obstacles are many.
